A campaign led by advocates of sustainability providing renewable energy & efficiency solutions.
GEO Project Supports Climate Justice Now!
On October 24th 2009, the International Day of Climate Action, we join the world in calling on all of the earth's nations to commit to a fair & binding climate treaty during UN COP15 to be held this December in Copenhagen.
The effective climate treaty must be based on an ambitious & tangible objective: 350ppm & no more!
The GEO Project supports, & collaborates in tandem with, the activities of theGreen Energy Act Alliance& other active organizations while delivering the various requirements of turn-key sustainability solutions for Ontario's energy consumers.
Our vision is the development of "Green" facilities comprised ofrenewable energy generation, efficiency & conservation components serving the energy needs of communities, institutions, organizations, commercial / industrial areas, farms & households across Ontario.
The GEO Project delivers education & support towards turn-key sustainability solutions. Helping each community or facility plan, develop & manage the processes involved in an effectively executed sustainability solution would reduce energy consumption & offset costs as well as potentially generating an income streamfor the community or facility.
The GEO Project is designed to address the emerging fundamental shifts related to energy:
The Shift ___________
What will change? _______________
Why? _______________
Examples _______________
Fuel Source
Fossil to Renewable
Pollutant to Clean
Oil to Solar
___________
_______________
_______________
_______________
Distribution
Centralized to Stranded
Monopoly to Equal Opportunity
Central Utility to Self-Sustained Units
A turn-key sustainability solution is a comprehensive approach to fulfilling the energy needs of a subject facility by incorporating renewable energy & conservation components as well as the administrative, financial & other technical requirements.
This represents an "A to Z" solution that starts from the feasibility studies & planning stages of the project toprocuring technology solutions, sourcing financing & investment, as well as engaging theRenewable Energy Standard Offer Program, a 20 year contract offered by the Ontario Power Authority to purchase electricity from renewable sources. The program also provides the management of long term maintenance requirements.
This photo depicts a sustainable facility employing solar & geothermal technology to provide its energy needs. In a few years, similar solutions will serve facilities of all types across Ontario.
The GEO Project is now accepting applications for Feasibility Studies as well as Renewable Energy & Conservation Project Financing.Get Started on a sustainable solution of your own today!

Some businesses, farms & households will see the GEO project as a way of offsetting their energy costs while donating some or all of the revenues from the sale of generated electricity. Donors may qualify for additional incentives (grants, loans, tax credits).
The GEO Project is comprised of a consortium of organizations including its founder Ocean eXchange, an innovator in the renewable energy finance sector, and is supported by a growing list of organizations collaborating to provide expertise in education, project management, technology & financial requirements.
The GEO Project operates within the evolving SEE Responsible standards.
